Welcome and Introductions

Keynote Address

And there’s so many faculty, so many professors, and so many students that are just like you in that same position that want to help you reach your dreams and do what you want to do here at UMD. And UH is going to be bigger and better than ever!

Sammy GarciaKeynote Speaker

UH has this value of curiosity and forces us to explore a wide range of disciplines, often different from our main course of study. I think developing those skills and seeing the world with that context allows us to better understand what we want to do in life and, for me, better prioritize those things in the proper manner.

Outstanding Student Award Address

Student Leader Recognition

We thank you for all of your hard work throughout this unprecedented time, the UH staff and I are appreciative of everything you’ve been able to accomplish this year.

Aisac AccadGraduate Assistant

Congratulations to all of UH’s Spring 2021 Honors Citation recipients!

My favorite memory from this year was being able to meet different students from different houses at a UH seminar. So I’m definitely looking forward to being able to attend these events in person next semester!

Student Reflections

Director Reflections

Perspective … is critical when the best times are also the worst times, because in our acknowledgment that a single year is two, and in our recognition that a single year is one of many, lies both the wellspring of empathy and a source of healing.

Sneak Peek: 2021-22

Next year marks a bit of a new beginning for our program, and with it comes the opportunity to offer some very new and exciting traditions. These traditions will only be as strong as  the student body’s commitment and buy-in.
