Peer Mentor Network

With our Peer Mentor Network, University Honors continues a longstanding Maryland Honors tradition of students helping students.

UH sophomores, juniors, and seniors may volunteer to provide support to fellow UH students as Peer Tutor (helping student succeed in a specific class) or as a Peer Mentor (serving as a mentor for students seeking major or personal advice on campus). All UH students are eligible and welcome to receive support from these mentors and tutors.

  • Peer TutorsInstructional assistance in subjects where they have demonstrated success
  • Peer Mentors Student-centered advice by major (e.g., recommended instructors, course sequencing). Non-academic support and allyship to fellow students.
