My name is Zahra! I chose UH because the curriculum would strengthen my knowledge on topics that I wouldn’t typically learn in my major, but could still be useful in my future. Concepts taught in the UH curriculum, such as body politics and intersectionality, are crucial for all of us to understand as we launch our professional futures. I ultimately decided to hold a leadership position, and particularly UHSB, because I wanted to take an active role in my learning and reflect the needs and concerns of UH students. I am most looking forward to becoming a proficient leader and representative for other students. I want to foster a community that encourages growth and learning and leave a legacy.
I love baking and watching anime! I’m also trying to learn embroidery whenever I get the time!
