Biography

My name is Patricia! I was immediately drawn to UH’s multidisciplinary curriculum and the opportunity to take classes I would never have had the chance to take as a math major. It is important for me to be well-versed in a variety of subject areas. I felt that as part of UH, I would have the freedom to take the classes I desired and explore new subject areas that I have never been exposed to. I decided to pursue a UH leadership role because I wanted to make sure this year could be memorable for the freshmen who have already lost so many special moments because of COVID. Additionally, I wanted to gain important leadership skills within a larger organization. I am looking forward to establishing a great network with such dedicated and passionate students, working with other UH faculty, staff, and connecting with other UH students. Being a leader in UH, I will know I left an impact after I graduate in 4 years.

Additional Student Involvement

My fun fact is...

I absolutely love animals! Before I graduated highschool, I volunteered with a therapeutic horse riding barn and was able to help kids with disabilities learn how to ride horses. My family has only ever adopted chihuahua-mixes since small dogs are superior!
