Migdalia has been at the University since 2015, most recently in Engineering, where she served as the Program Coordinator for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Bridge program. Before her time in Engineering, she served as an academic advisor in the Academic Achievement Programs in UGST. And before coming to UMD, she spent a number of years supporting students at Miami Dade College. A licensed mental health counselor, Migdalia holds a MS in Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Psychology from Florida International University.
