Dario Middleton

Assistant Director for Academic Life

Biography

As the Assistant Director for Academic Life, Dario Middleton oversees advising, scheduling, and data management for University Honors. Previously, he was the Senior Counselor Advisor for the University of Maryland’s Academic Achievement Program and a counselor at the University of Maryland Global Campus. During his time with the Academic Achievement Program, Middleton helped first-generation college students navigate the university and get on the path to success. He worked as a liaison for several campus departments and is a member of the Advising Learning Network. In 2016, he received the Undergraduate Studies staff recognition award for outstanding service and dedication. A New York Native, Dario graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. He lives in Southern Maryland with his family, and you can find him in the kitchen perfecting homemade pizzas when he is not keeping busy with work.
