The UH Student Life Council (SLC) is a group of University Honors students dedicated to deepening and diversifying student engagement through innovative programming, events, and initiatives.
The SLC plans events, activities, and opportunities for University Honors students to engage and interact with each other, the campus, and the greater community.
Community is central to the living-learning component of UH, and the Student Life Council provides students an opportunity to have a strong impact on building a vibrant UH community. As a part of the SLC, you will gain experience planning, advertising, and executing programs, building UH central and house traditions, and have an opportunity to meet and network with UH peers. The SLC is a great way for new students to get experience with planning events within a student organization and for returning students to build their leadership skills, all while making UH a welcoming, fun, and interconnected community.
Applications to become a member of the Student Life Council are invited every Fall semester. All UH students are eligible to apply. Inquiries may be directed to Assistant Director for Student Life, Chelsea Bradford. Watch this space for more details!
