My name is Tisha. I love the interdisciplinary nature of the University Honors program which has not only taught me about disciplines and fields that I would have been unaware of, but also to apply the knowledge I gain in the classroom to the real world. There are a variety of academic disciplines represented in any UH class, creating an interesting conversation space as many different individuals with a variety of viewpoints discuss the topics. The connections I have made in University Honors and the unique nature of the program have motivated me to join the University Honors Student Board and I am excited to continue to see the program grow.
