Christopher Capp holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Duke University and is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Maryland. His research and teaching center on improving education about the process of science as it actually occurs. He is also fascinated by the various enzymes involved in DNA replication and repair. He has been part of the Honors College since 2017, when he first began teaching “The Practice of Science in an Age of Truthiness.”
