Known for our self-reliance, healing, intuition, and living in the moment, our house is associated with the scorpion. Scorpions can withstand difficult conditions, and they work diligently to reach their goals, just like members of our Shaula community. Adaptable, patient, and perceptive: these are among the traits we bring to the UH community. Our house color is bright maroon.
Our house is named after the second brightest star in the constellation of Scorpius (Lat. scorpion). While Shaula appears to be one star, it is actually a triple star system that is the 24th brightest star in the sky. The name Shaula means “the scorpion’s stinger.” Members of House Shaula are known for their seamless collaboration.
House Shaula is one of the four UH Houses. You are joining a community of champions, as House Shaula won the inaugural House Cup competition in 2020-21! This year, we will be focused on building new traditions for House Shaula and earning back our title as the mightiest and most committed of the UH houses.
