Ingrid Satelmajer

Associate Fellow: Drawn to D.C. | Vantage Point Coordinator

Ingrid Satelmajer holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research has been published in Book HistoryAmerican Periodicals, and Textual Cultures, and in several academic collections. Other writings have appeared in The BelieverMAKE: A Chicago Literary Magazine, the Los Angeles Review of BooksThe Massachusetts ReviewThe Bellingham Review, and in many other places. She has taught a wide range of courses for the Honors College on major authors, contemporary arts, and city spaces and cultures. A Phillip Merrill Presidential Faculty Mentor and the faculty mentor for numerous Honors College and Winston Awardees, Ingrid enjoys advising students on their writing and projects. Her class for the Drawn to D.C. track will continue her longstanding survey and consideration of human experiences in built spaces.
