Dr. Hassanatu Blake is an Associate Clinical Professor and Inaugural Director of the Global Health Undergraduate Program in the Department of Global, Environmental, and Occupational Health at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. With 20 years of experience as a global and digital health leader, her expertise spans health equity, prevention, social/structural determinants of health, and health systems and program management. Her research focuses on digital health and health equity, leveraging tech-driven solutions and health systems management to address structural determinants of health and improve outcomes for marginalized populations globally. Blake has extensive experience translating research into policy and practice and training the next generation of public health professionals.
