The University Honors Leadership Medallion is a non-credit, co-curricular program that serves as the tangible culmination of the growth and leadership opportunities that the program encourages students to engage in as active citizens of the UH community. Students working towards a UH Leadership Medallion are considered members of the Leadership Network!
Recipients of the UH Leadership Medallion are recognized as honors thought leaders: empowered advocates for change who support the mission and ethos of UH by instigating change and inspiring others to share innovative ideas. They work collectively to turn ideas for program development into reality and encourage equitable leadership in others. They contribute to sustainable change by mentoring the next generation of thought leaders in UH.

In order to earn a UH Leadership Medallion, students must complete requirements at the individual, collaborative, and community levels of leadership engagement, as well as complete a leadership reflection.
Actively serve within a student leadership position with University Honors are worth points based on time commitment and level of leadership. Students must earn 4 points through the various leadership opportunities.
Engaged with Portfolium, reflection on leadership learning and journey, application to future positions and roles
