As Assistant Director of Communications, Brittany is responsible for the program’s communications strategy, creation, and outreach. Previously, she worked as the Associate Director of Communications at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. She is an adjunct instructor in the Theatre department at UMD, a freelance theatre critic for DC Theater Arts, and an Editorial Consultant at StoryForge, an online writing platform for underrepresented indie authors. Brittany received her BA in English from Stevenson University, her MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland.
